증상
2002 기아 스포티지의 브레이크가 후진 시에만 잠김. 드라이브나 중립에서는 브레이크가 풀림. 잠길 때 공기압 음이 들리고 페달이 바닥까지 내려감.
처리 내용
리어 브레이크가 드럼식이므로, 후진 시에만 발생하는 것으로 보아 한쪽 브레이크 하드웨어가 손상된 것으로 추정됨. 후진할 때 슈가 제 위치에서 벗어나면서 휠이 잠기고 브레이크 실린더가 통제 불가능하게 팽창하는 것으로 생각됨. 드라이브로 변속하면 브레이크 슈가 다시 제 위치로 돌아가면서 실린더도 정상 위치로 돌아감. (현재 정보가 제한적이어서 추측임) 차량을 정비할 때까지 절대 운행하지 마시기 바람. 이 문제는 주행 중 브레이크 완전 상실로 이어질 수 있는 심각한 결함임. 직접 정비할 수 없다면 차량을 견인하여 전문점에서 정비받으시기 바람.

Lovely ready and I love your choice!! The E60 was one of the best M5s I ever had - On road and track Use it, and enjoy every moment of the magnificent engine!! I did more track days in my E60 than all my other cars in the past combined I would hazard a guess at. So many fond memories. My advice, put a decent set of brakes on it, I ended up with 12 Piston Calipers and 400mm rotas with all the track days I did and it really transformed it and the confidence it gave to the car.

I'm very observant when driving or walking, the other day I walked my son to school alongside a busy road, I reckon 80% of the cars that passed me were looking down at phones. I had a van pull out on me on a roundabout a few months ago and then slam his brakes on, phone clearly visible so I submitted the footage to TVP and to my surprise they sent me a letter confirming a prosecution. The amount of times I've had to swerve recently because of cars swerving onto my side of the road is diabolical.

I think it is a shame to lose one of the distinctive features of the 944 (the wrap around rear screen).Proportions from rear three-quarters are also a bit too Scimitar for my taste but each to their own.
