증상
브레이크 로터와 브레이크 패드를 지금 50% 할인가로 구매할 수 있지만, 1-2년 후에 필요함. 1년 이상 보관할 수 있는지, 그리고 어떤 보관 조건이 필요한지 궁금함.
처리 내용
브레이크 패드는 산화에 의해 열화되지 않으므로 문제없이 장기 보관 가능. 브레이크 로터는 철 함량이 많아 녹이 슬 수 있지만, 출고 시 녹 방지 코팅이 되어 있음. 보관 시 약간의 오일로 닦아내고 포장하여 산화를 방지하면 더 좋음. 다만 약간의 녹이 슬어도 문제없으며, 차량을 사용할 때 첫 브레이킹에서 녹이 벗겨짐. 차량이 비 노출 상태에서도 자연적으로 로터가 녹슬지만 문제없으므로 지금 구매해서 보관했다가 사용해도 됨.

2019 Dodge Ram 5.7L HEMI, 100km 미만. 브레이크 작업 후 시운전 중 풀 스로틀로 0-70mph까지 한 번 가속 후 발생. 엔진 미스파이어 시작, 체크 엔진 라이트 깜박임. 리듬컬한 탭탭탭 소리 발생(collapsed lifter 유사음). 2/3 스로틀 이상에서만 발생, 정상 주행 시에는 미스만 있고 해머링음 없음.

I did more track days in my E60 than all my other cars in the past combined I would hazard a guess at. So many fond memories. My advice, put a decent set of brakes on it, I ended up with 12 Piston Calipers and 400mm rotas with all the track days I did and it really transformed it and the confidence it gave to the car.

I'm very observant when driving or walking, the other day I walked my son to school alongside a busy road, I reckon 80% of the cars that passed me were looking down at phones. I had a van pull out on me on a roundabout a few months ago and then slam his brakes on, phone clearly visible so I submitted the footage to TVP and to my surprise they sent me a letter confirming a prosecution. The amount of times I've had to swerve recently because of cars swerving onto my side of the road is diabolical.
