The pain I see with caravans is that Public chargers are badly designed, nothing worse than hitching up again! On your example your first leg is 150miles the your 10-80% is 80 miles? Easier to get a fix caravan and drive normally to the camp site. My advice would be buy a more suitable EV than the ID4 with a longer range if you want to tow a caravan. Model Y would appear a decent choice. And on the occasions you do tow, then charge to 100%. 80% is

Sure, you'll still need a bit more time than with a diesel, but as I said, it's leisure time. So what. It's not quite as easy to holiday in different places with a fixed caravan, the entire point of towing one is that you can go pretty much anywhere.I've seen public charger locations with dedicated lanes and chargers for towing rigs.Personally I would prefer a campervan/motorhome, but that wasn't the question. My missus is the same as you on that too,and she'd never entertain the idea of a caravan(I don't mind them though to be fair), but she would entertain a campervan or motorhome though I think in comparison. The problem with a motorhome of any size, ie as large inside as a good size touring caravan, is that it s a pain in the arse once you re at your destination. To go anywhere after your initial arrival means you need to pack the whole thing up and then drive a massive vehicle to whatever beauty spot or town you plan to visit. Only to find height restrictions on the car parks. Whereas with a caravan, once you ve set up on site, you still have your normal car like you do at home - which is an awful lot more convenient.Tell everyone you have never motorhomed without telling everyone youve never motorhomedHows he wrong?

This looks fantastic. I think it's got to a point you'd have to be daft to buy the G90 M5 over this or a top end Taycan. Either pure combustion or pure electric, the PHEVs are just a pointless, overcomplicated middle option

Still as subtle as a brick in your face. Not for me.

Other than a slightly bulky rear end, I think that looks fantastic. 9/10. And it's a saloon, not another bloody SUV - hurrah!
